The Sturt Basketball U14 Boys 2016 team's results at State Champs has earned them an invite to the Australian U14 Boys Club Championships ("Nationals") held in Newcastle: 26th Sep - 1st Oct. This is the Big One the players and coaches and club have all been working hard for. Congratulations Team.
The National Junior Championships form a vital pathway - from participation through to elite - for the nation's junior athletes. 24 teams from across Australia vie for top spot to become Club Champions. In the 45 years of the tournament history, the Sturt Sabres Basketball Club is the only club from South Australia to have won. Sturt is the current reigning champion club - winners in 2015.
